- All Awesome Aquatic sponges are sustainably harvested and ecologically friendly. No additive, but thoroughly cleaned and sterilized ready for use. They provide minerals and nutrients from the ocean that will help your hermit crab thrive. Over time, they will consume the sponges, which is highly beneficial for their exoskeletons.
- Awesome Aquatic’s Regular and Jumbo hermit sponges are hand selected and pass inspection before packaging. Only High Quality sponges are used.
- Directions; Place 1 or more sponges in your hermit’s water dish, to fill the dish. They should be changed out for a clean dry sponge regularly to prevent contamination or fouling. You can microwave the sponge for 10-15 seconds to sterilize.
