The quality is excellent. The Pro Nutrients, the smaller of the two ingredients, stated plainly, that the dogs will not eat most of these. Give it to the birds. Otherwise, dogs have improved coats and no other negative issues.
We have tried many dog food brands over our 15 years of having dogs. Ultimately, the brands never live up to the claims..."scientifically proven to extend your dogs playful years" or "made for such and such dog breed". We lost two dogs in that time and I can say that none of these claims were true. Our first dog died at 10 years due to the loss of his hind quarters via neurologic myelopathy from degenerative disease. Not much later, our Maggie girl developed exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. Our third dog, Luna, was an overweight lab with hip problems when we got her. Naturally, we looked for a brand that claimed to help maintain a healthy weight. Now, the Blue Buffalo brand did deliver on that aspect. Her weight was reduced by about 10 pounds, a good start. However, her hip problems only progressed. In addition she had terrible issues with her ears. We took the plunge and tried a whole food diet plan for her. Though about double the cost of the dried up mystery kibble you get here, the food has been miraculous. She is now at her goal weight, super active, healthy coat, healthy ears, acts like a puppy.All that to say, skip the kibble, go for whole food. If you can't afford the prepared brands, there are also veterinarian approved recipes out there.
Great dog food product. High quality dog food for a great price. My dog is very sensitive to certain dog food and this one has never caused any issues for him. Doesn’t have to strong of a smell and last so long!! I get it sent every 3 weeks and the subscription makes it a good deal. I’d say my dogs health has improved dramatically since starting this food!
This is our go-to dog food, and it’s a staple in our house! Our dog loves it, and we’ve noticed a positive difference in their energy and overall health since switching to this brand. The quality is consistent, and it gives us peace of mind knowing we’re feeding our pup something they truly enjoy and that keeps them healthy. Highly recommend!
